A sulphur based preventative fungicide, suitable for use on a wide range of horticultural crops and compatible for tank mixing with a broad number of agrochemicals.

CALCIUM FOLIAR FEED

Calcium is an essential element for plant growth. It provides the strength to cell walls which makes fruit firm and store well, and makes flowers strong and lasting. Calcium deficiency leads to diseases like blossom end rot in tomatoes and bitter pit in apples. It shows in ornamental plants like poinsettias as poor plant structure and broken bracts.

Calcium is not a mobile element in the plant and is not well taken up by the roots. Foliar applications are effective provide the spray is well formulated to allow the calcium to be taken into the plant effectively.

Solufeed Panda (produced by our parent company Headland Agrochemicals) is a specially formulated liquid calcium spray based on soluble calcium nitrate with added nutrients boron, magnesium and zinc.. The product is specifically designed as a foliar spray and contains added surfactants to improve adhesion and to maximise the uptake of nutrients by the plant.

Pack size: 10 litre

Normal application rate: 5 litre/ha

Recommended for use on:

Apples
Strawberries
Lettuce
Vegetable brassicas
Celery
And many other crops.

SOLUFEED MICROFINE LIQUID SULPHUR

Sulphur is an important nutrient for crop production, and is classified as a secondary element, ranking alongside magnesium and calcium in importance.

With the decline in the use of coal as a domestic and industrial fuel, sulphur deficiency in crops has become an increasing problem.

Solufeed microfine liquid sulphur is a foliar spray containing 800 grams/litre fine milled elemental sulphur.

The extra small particle size of the sulphur - created by double milling the raw materials during production - coupled with the sophisticated wetting/spreading system, gives very effective coverage of the plant and ensures excellent uptake into the leaves. The efficiency of the formulation means that lower rates of application give equivalent control to higher rates of coarse soluble powder products.

The fungicidal properties of sulphur have been recognised for centuries, with powdery mildew being well controlled. Microfine liquid sulphur, as well as being a foliar fertiliser, is registered as a fungicide in the UK and many other countries around the world.

Formulation: 800 gms/litre elemental sulphur

Pack size: 10 litre.

Normal application rate: 5 - 10 litres per hectare.

SOLUFEED LIQUID COPPER OXYCHLORIDE

Copper deficiency is well known on thin heath soils, chalky soils and peaty soils. It can occur in a wide range of crops and is recognised in cereals as blind ears with poor grain fill.

Copper is one of the oldest fungicides know, and has a good effect on a range of fungus diseases.

Solufeed liquid copper oxychloride contains 435 gms/litre copper oxychloride formulated with wetters, spreaders and stickers specifically as a foliar spray for the correction of copper deficiency and as a fungicide.

In the UK this product is registered as a fungicide for the control of:

Canker in Apples and Pears
Purple Blotch disease in Blackcurrants
Rust in Blackcurrants
Leaf spot in Celery
Bacterial Canker in Cherry
Downy Mildew in Hops
